Well, they got what they wanted. Kick out the busy body EU regulators to make the UK the “Singapore of the North Sea” and unshackle the Bullington Club Oxbridge Assholes. But they forgot about labour supply and demand and gravity-based trade models.
Turns out they need those Polish plumbers and the German and French export markets might be a lot more lucrative than fucken New Zealand and Australia (and Canada for that matter.)

It looks like Ukraine intelligence is starting to specifically target the officers who carry out attacks on civilians. It appears that a submarine commander who fired the missiles that killed and injured civilians in July 2022 was assassinated today.
Russians who were just "following orders" are going to live with a target on their backs for a long, long time after this is over.
