Alberta used to have one of those funds but year after year their conservative provincial governments gave it back to oil company executives. It didn't create or preserve one single oil industry job, either.

I'm not thankful for that. A provincial sales tax would help to pay for stuff. People here bitch about crumbling infrastructure but would riot in the streets if they had to pay a 1% PST. They are the least taxed province in Canada and all they do is bitch about taxes they might have to pay someday.

Russian logistics is terrible and as much as people have tried to point out how much arty and tank gear the Russians have, the tanks largely don't have modern optics and the arty pieces are firing 40 yr old inaccurate shells.
The ukies have consistently been 5-10× more accurate per shell fired for months now. Stretch the lines and snipe them in the theaters that favour long range gunnery.
