So....the US exported 14.4 Billion in corn last year, 5 Billion of that to Mexico. The top 4 importers after Mexico are China, Canada, Colombia and Japan. As you might guess, the majority of American corn comes from red states.
There just isn't a huge import market for corn either.
That's the market...56B, and the US just lost 9% of it.
