wondering how this crackdown will look like. Is it 'spy hunting' or are they going to be strict again. This is Tehran before the bombing:

ok here is my story:My coworker broke down today and told me her mother is unaccounted for in Iran. She had been trying to return to Canada. Devastating.
Glad to hear they made it out.ok here is my story:
In laws were on a trip there when the first bombs came down. On this side of the pond we were urging them to get out, there they wanted to stay put downplaying the events.
Then Trump tweeted the "everyone must flee Tehran" message. This set off the following events:
The Trip:
1- Find a driver that is trusted, which was difficult as we don't know anyone there, + internet/phone likes were choppy or down.
2- Get them on a 12-hour drive to the Armenian border while bombs were coming down on different cities on the path
3- Get them inside Armenia
4- Find transportation there at the border
5- Take another 8-hour drive through tough mountainous terrain
6- Stay at a hotel at Armenian's capital city.
7- Get them out back to Toronto on First available flight (only bad flights available with long lay overs).
Total Trip time: 20+ hour drive, one night of rest, another 20+ hour of flights/layovers.
Total cost: over $7 grand
so awful. poor guy, hope it works out for himI had a guest check out of the hotel yesterday morning and he was headed home after being here on business.
His passport was rejected at the Port Huron, Michigan border.
He is from Germany but has been living and working in the US for 7 years. His wife is in the states and they own a home.
He now has to find a flight back to Germany where he has nothing and try to arrange to get back into the US where his life is.
I felt so terrible for him.
