OT: WWE/MMA/Boxing Thread

Glover was 30 seconds away from a decision victory, too. Boy oh boy.

I can’t think of a worse decision than him giving up that dominate position in the fifth when he’s either winning (3-1) or worse case tied 2-2 with him def winning that last round. Like that’s Flurey hitting the US guy at the world juniors to give up the winning goal etc…He’s a grappling OG…for him to not just lay on him if he must at that point - like wow.

But yeh, those guys were nuts and prob stopped thinking about four minutes into the fight and just went for it.

Tonight's UFC card is very under the radar, but looks like it could have a lot of action fights.

Another really under the radar card this weekend:

Tsarukyan's one of the future stars at Lightweight. His only loss in the UFC was his UFC debut against Islam Makhachev. Also, possible future WW champ Shavkat Rakhmonov is going to have by far his toughest fight against Neil Magny. If he can beat Magny and beat him decisively, hoh boy. Watch out.

Bellator has a good card too that is worth checking out.

There's a PFL card tonight (find yourself a streaming link) and a Bellator card.

Mousasi's fighting in the Bellator main event.

Bellator prelims:

Really solid free UFC card tonight. A lot of potentially good fights and some future stars. Rahkmonov & Tsarukyan might be title challengers one day, worth checking them out.

If this holds up... That looks like it'll easily be card of the year.

UFC 280's announced fights so far. Two championship fights in the two deepest divisions in the sport, along with three veterans going against the new breed of fighters.

Can't. Wait.

The Sugar Show is getting his big boy fight. Huge opportunity for him, but I think Yan is way better at this point. And I loooove O'Malley. Rest of the card looks incredible. Hopefully it holds together.
