Im sure the Pauls are compotent amateur boxers, maybe even good but elite is elite and even the older elite strikers, MMA or boxing shouldn't be losing to 25 year old amateurs.

Defensive awareness should get Silva through this fight even if he doesnt land anything

I dont buy into the Paul hype as being legit boxers yet

They're 100% not real boxers. They'll never fight real boxers, unless they're bottom of the barrel like Tommy Fury. But an actual competent boxer with real talent? Not unless it's a Mayweather/Pacquiao type.
 
I've got it 4-3 Silva going into the 8th fwiw

But I have no faith that the judges of this sideshow will be able to not give Paul all of the close rounds
 
Back on his heels for 7 of 8 rounds but the knockdown will be enough to give Paul the decison.

If this does the same amount of buys that Woodley 1 did (500K), that's 30M in PPV. So Spiders will make about 10.5 millie tonight.

The same logic never applies to how much Dana pays himself because as he tells it, he's the special breed that works harder the more money he makes.
 
Btw, it's not a coincidence that GSP was on the Showtime broadcast either. I don't doubt for a second that he'd love to get some of that Jake Paul action.

You know, it's actually funny because if he was talking about himself, he'd be 100% right. Dana isn't the grinder that he used to be and has basically fine-tuned the UFC machine with a bunch of people who do the dirty, shitty jobs he used to do. He doesn't even promote fights anymore.

He's made it rich and now pays other people to do his work and he makes more money than ever.
