I don't know who follows wrestling or AEW, but I do make some references to wrestling and its lingo kinda frequently (I think a lot of today's culture can be seen through a wrestling lens )
Anyway, sad news out of the wrestling community today: former The Butcher died today after collapsing at an independent wrestling event yesterday - he was also a musician with bands ETID and Atomic Rule
I have never been a fan of any of the fighting type of sports but I do admire the way he handled so much tragedy post career. He showed great strength and used his name and time helping others deal with surviving through personal family tragedy. He came across as a good person.
This is a sad one for me. PAC/Neville was an AEW original and one of my favorite high flying wrestlers of the last 20 years. Benjamin Satterley died on Sunday, a day after All Out, which he was a part of.
He wasn't just a high-flyer, he had a great strong (hard hitting) style as well. He will always be our BASTARD.
