He wasn’t the only one who lost his mind during the 2nd period. Tripp, Svech, Walker, the refs … it was catching.
 
Btw if you have the FanDuel feed recorded go back to the Nikishin hit and watch all the dirty looks Green kept trying to give Rod and the canes bench. He was more invested in the goonery then actually coaching to win a playoff game

Yeah, yet another thing about Green that failed to impress. For one thing, you better be glad Rod didn’t take any of that personally, because he’d split you like a past its date watermelon.

I know full well what I’m asking, which is discipline and his coaches undoubtedly were as well. He got the message and had a really nice 3rd period.
 
Two hours later I still cannot believe how these buffoons that call themselves refs can butcher games so bad and stay employed. That Furlatt guy is supposed to be a senior ref…how can a league be that inconsistent and incompetent night in night out and not fix it? A refs main job is to maintain control of a game and today they failed miserably.

We went shorthanded on a play where a guy came off the bench. When the play was already dead, and started an altercation. Think about that for a second.
 
I still want someone to explain why both Tkachuks in this league can commit countless blatant punches, stick fouls, face washes and assorted misdeeds after the whistle and they get a free pass every fucking time…three times today alone. It’s a league mystery and the biggest joke.
 
I got stuck listening to the Sens radio broadcast, but Dean and Gord assured me that the hit on Nikishin was clean, and that Svechnikov should be banned from the league for intentionally going after a guy with a broken jaw.
