In Edmonton they have "Freedom" trucker rallies downtown every weekend even though there is no longer anything to protest in terms of covid mandates.

Most pickup trucks sold here come with a "Fuck Trudeau" bumper sticker as standard equipment.

That looks like wishful thinking to me, especially the 5 games part. I don't trust Smith's goaltending and Leon is nursing an injury. Calgary will try to goon it up and they will goad Kassian and Kane into stupid penalties. Edmonton relies way too much on McJebus to do everything. That makes them easy to shut down. Even so, I don't see this ending before Game 6 at least.

I've never seen an interprovincial playoff series that wasn't a war. Falmes-Oilers, Habs-Nords, even Leafs-Sens (the process, if not the outcomes)
