Certain things deserve to be shit on.

Professional women's baseball is one of them. It's going to be a failure because sports fans of both genders wont watch it. Female sports fans aren't going to watch it just because women are playing. They, like their male counterparts, are only interested in watching the good stuff.

And I wasnt calling them fat lesbos. I was saying that MAGA would call them that (and call them trams too) I'm quite sure that not all of them will be fat.

Been to numerous women’s professional sporting events and I absolutely promise you, none of the women are bothered that some misogynistic boomer doesn’t agree or cares to watch. Being surrounded by fellow enthusiasts who truly love the sport is fabulous. WE. Do. Not. Care.

You seem to care a whole bunch about stuff that doesn’t really pertain to you though. That or the obvious choice that you just love to spout off about everything and anything to read your own posts. Honestly. Peek your head outside the front door. Women’s rugby erupted this year. PWHL had enough growth to add two teams after year 2. They’ve got basketball and now baseball on the way. There are plenty of female athletes and sports enthusiasts that will watch as well as attend. Why is it any skin off your teeth? Who cares? So many more pressing things to shake your fist at, aren’t there?

Bob Iger purchased Angel City the soccer team for 250M.

Big money is moving into the women's sports space.

So...purely as a fan of pretty much every sport...like if I can find a rooting interest, I'll probably watch it. I will say that for obvious (physiological and development) reasons, not all women sports measure up in quality to their men's counterparts. But....does it really matter? If you look at it as a different version of the sport, can't it still be entertaining and provide the positive impacts that sport provides to young men to young women? Why be such a dick about it? It's not like WeHave is (was) some elite athlete to look down on anyone else. Just sexist I guess...

Maybe you're expressing a preference for male performance in some sports, as opposed to a qualitative argument about male and female execution of sports. . . ?

Nah...not really. There's a measurable gap in skill / strength between men and women in different sports. Basketball, Tennis, MMA are a few that come to mind. Some of it is training gap that absolutely will continue to close as more money deservedly gets pumped into women sports development but the physiological gap will likely not go away. And again, nothing wrong with that, it doesn't make the female version of the sport less good or worthy of investment.
 
wphl is brand new and is already is at about 75% of ahl average attendance and ticket price.

i'm only a top-tier league sports guy myself but i'm glad there's plenty of fans for good 2nd tier leagues.
