Top six and bottom six will have prospects coming. Waiting 3 years for Michkov isn't the worst thing. Drafting a bust because you're afraid of Russians, that's the worst.

Waiting 3 years for Michkov is nothing. If you're taking him at 4 or later, it's not like you're passing on a guy that's going to be ready to contibute in a significant way within a year or 2. With Michkov, you get a potential star in 3 years as opposed to a lesser player in 2-4 years.
Depends by how much he’s BPA. If a lot, sure, but if only marginally then not so clear.
