Assuming Drouin sits out a year, Armia, Danault & Lekhonen still in at last seasons cap hit.

I’m also expecting miraculous recoveries for Weber & Price post expansion draft, maybe 1-2 months missed due to minor procedure work.

MB has $12.3M - some of it will go towards re-upping Armia, Lekhonen, KK, and Danault or replacement.

So likely looking at $ left for a Tatar replacement. If Weber does da Kucherov, looking at 2-additions

Teams expecting cap relief mostly got screwed - first bypass Tarasenko, now Philly thought Voracek would get claimed, Kraken taking Carsen Twarynski instead!

As expected , those are shit contracts

Eberle , one of the TB trio, anyone of value that can be flipped for assets at the deadline is the way to go

Kraken are getting no legit building blocks like Vegas did

Going into the offseason we had 5 bad contracts with one potentially on the way (Dano). Right now it looks like we will have only three of that lot (Gally, Price, Byron) with two on LTIR permanently (Drouin, Weber) while dodging the Dano's greed fest.

Good start to the off season to create cap space.
