No one named "John Sedgwick" is ever going to be so much as acceptable, let alone perfect, to the francophone media. The fact that he is perfectly qualified is beside the point, as it always is in Montreal. He can't pass the purity test.

He is changing his name to Jean Seguinay , born in Laval

He certainly didn't do a good job negotiating some of the albatross contracts we have had since 2013....
 
I’d be happy with Briere. Smart and likeable guy. Also was a highly skilled, fast player that will understand the current game and not build with a bunch of pylons and slugs.
