I’ve never been so disappointed in so many people I previously had some modicum of respect for than those that complain about “wokeness”…..its such a smooth brained, childish complaint that makes them look like the snowflakes they purport to hate.

Worst of all the comedians who do it, hold up George Carlin as their god thinking he’d be on their side…..meanwhile he’d be more likely to have a full special dedicated to shitting on how pathetic they sound.

The modern war on "Woke" is a long term, full guns blazing propaganda effort by the American right wing. It started in their think tanks when they noticed in polling that white independents were a little bit rattled by the rise of african american protest movements and didn't know what to think of groups like BLM, incidents like the George Floyd murder protests, etc.

Anyone who fell for it already had some unsavory sociopolitical ideas in their heads imo, and were just uncomfortable voicing them.
