i learned a long time ago not to press what is "trending" among the unwashed masses not in my follow list

"trending" is often what X thinks you're into

it's way too easy to mistake-click your way into "communities" when browsing twitter on your phone browser. That place is an absolute cesspool. Though I don't think any real people actually use it.

This is still wildly optimistic fwiw. Most estimates put Twitter's value at about that same 9.4 Billion back when it was revenue neutral and not 90% bots and Stormfront posters.
