what appears to be the issue is that he is pathetic enough to loudly claim that he is one of the top players in the world, and all these gamers watch him play and instantly know he doesn't know what he's doing.

nobody would care about him just buying a good character.

If you want to know who the boss is in that relationship, ask who is replaceable. Slippery slope into a surveillence/police state, but on it's face I don't hate what he's saying. I want every interaction I ever have with law enforcement to be accurately recorded and analyzed by an impartial referee personally. I've had polite disagreements with police before and been threatened in a way that was clear abuse of power. That level of power is what draws a lot (not all, but a lot) of people to the job. Remove that ability and the people unfit for the job either get managed in by their internal disciplinary systems to becoming better people and police, managed out back into being civilians with no power over anyone and within a generation the type of people looking for that type of power over others won't even aspire to do the job.

Now, when they start talking about every public camera using the same technology you're into some true techno dystopia type shit. But cameras specifically on police and police cars? Yes please.
