Fake accounts too. The Bill Ackman post about buying bluesky to suppress it has turned out to be a fake. He denies having an account on bluesky.

I propose that they come up with some method to verify that a person is who they say they are. Then perhaps their account could get a blue check mark or some such.

Still can’t believe anyone tried to push Threads as some kind of legitimate alternative.
Even setting aside Meta’s track record, who the fuck wants a version of Twitter where you have to have an Instagram account to sign in, and where your only option is their version of Twitter’s “For You” tab, where you’re force-fed whatever content the site’s owners want pushed through the algorithm.

yah I tried out some of the others, like spoutible and mastodon, but never even bothered with threads. didn't see the point. still don't.
