The Fantastically Beautiful Joyously Superfun 22-23 Season Celebration Thread

Ferguson wasn’t signed to an NHL contract. He was only on an AHL deal.

So he was never officially property of the Leafs, and the Marlies trading him has no impact on the number of contract slots the Leafs have available.

There we go. Thank you.

Hey is Phil kessel done? Would Vegas get rid of him for very little to get some cap space?

Would he be an idea if it was super cheap?

One thing we haven't mentioned too much is that the version of Auston Matthews we're currently seeing is vastly diminished and that is a huge concern if he doesn't get better for the playoffs.

criticisms are always relative with this guy but he is nowhere near the level he was last year.

Might be another reason the Leafs shot their trade bolt on the centre rather than the high profile winger, Keefe's usage thus far notwithstanding.

I think I read somewhere that he is either fourth or first in blocked shots this year by a forward.

Maybe he's making a super conscious effort to be more Crosby/bergeron this year.

He's still getting the shot off and it's getting on target. (As opposed to the beginning of the year when I think his wrist was off.

We'll see

Finding out we’re losing a 2nd for Ritchie after all this time hurts. Even if it was in the 2030 draft. When we get to 2025 and look back on where that 2nd went…ugh.
