LOF has a really big thing against top-pairing, cup winning, shutdown d-men.
Beauchemin shutting down someone. Hahahaha. The thought of it is hilarious.LOF has a really big thing against top-pairing, cup winning, shutdown d-men.
except pretty much everyone has admitted that this has been on the whole a down season for Muzz, and given his age and injury history there are concerns moving forward. Can't wait till he's gone and the WHOLE FORUM starts saying how thrilled they are and how he was finished, and we'll all forget what was being said long before that collective realization, as usual.
pretty sure he played close to 30 mins a night on a cup winner. was at least 25 mins/night. dems da factsBeauchemin shutting down someone. Hahahaha. The thought of it is hilarious.
It's called being on the fence, and most of you are on it because you don't want his clear deterioration to be true and you also want to hedge in case he comes back suddenly strong and effective. That's okay, and if that happens, I'm a happy camper.except pretty much everyone has admitted that this has been on the whole a down season for Muzz, and given his age and injury history there are concerns moving forward.
we just haven't decided that he has been done for the past two plus seasons and are not ruling out the possibility of him returning to a lesser version of his pre-injury self (which, to be clear, is still a damn fucking good defenceman and would really help our team).
Don't care. One player doesn't win a cup. And maybe he was actually good when he played for them, I don't know, I'm not a Ducks fan.pretty sure he played close to 30 mins a night on a cup winner. was at least 25 mins/night. dems da facts
Then you are missing out on some key insight, my friend.I think the problem is that you're not opinionated enough. I have no idea where you stand on each player on the Leafs.
Brodie,Lilly,and Rielly aren't perfect.
most people: Muzz has not been trash this year, even though his play has declined. whether this is an injury related blip (ala Matt Niskanen) or age related decline remains to be determined. even if its only age-related decline, a slightly less than peak-Muzz is still a super valuable piece. It's called being on the fence, and most of you are on it because you don't want his clear deterioration to be true and you also want to hedge in case he comes back suddenly strong and effective. But the Muzz we've seen all year has been trash.
And Beauch was complete garbage his whole time as a Leaf. Literally the anti-Brodie.
hey I'm just out here pointing out facts. you can do what you want with them.Don't care. One player doesn't win a cup. And maybe he was actually good when he played for them, I don't know, I'm not a Ducks fan.
I just know that in the blue and white, he was absolutely horrific. A circus act in his own end.
I've been on the Muzz is trash train for the majority of this year as well. I was calling to trade him for a while.most people: Muzz has not been trash this year, even though his play has declined. whether this is an injury related blip (ala Matt Niskanen) or age related decline remains to be determined. even if its only age-related decline, a slightly less than peak-Muzz is still a super valuable piece.
LOF: Muzz is trash. get off the fence the rest of you.
I mean I quite literally in my post explained how I feel about Muzz and you ignored it and came up with your own version in your reply so I'm not sure exactly what to do here.I've been on the Muzz is trash train for the majority of this year as well. I was calling to trade him for a while.
All of the Muzz Lovers here keep telling us.. .it's Holl's fault, it's Lilly, .... it's "ignore that play.. focus on these ones where Mathews scored when he was on the ice, therefore good xGF"
Alls I know is that the team has played very well without Muzz in the line up and the pairings seem to work quite well. Especially Brodie/Holl
I say have Muzzin as Defenseman number 8 right now. With Sandin ahead of him.
Should an injury take place bring him in..,.. but right now and for pretty much the entire year, Muzzin is not a top four defenseman.
