Nope, that rule still exists:

15.4 Exhibition Games.

(c) A Club shall be permitted to dress a minimum of eight (8) veterans for any Exhibition Game. For purposes of this Section 15.4(c), a veteran shall constitute either:

(1) a forward or defenseman who played in thirty (30) NHL Games during the previous season,

(2) a goaltender who either dressed in fifty (50) or more NHL Games or played in thirty (30) or more NHL Games in the previous season,

(3) a first round draft choice from the most recent year's Entry Draft, or

(4) any Player who has played one-hundred (100) or more career NHL Games.

...and under those rules, our all-scrub team is compliant, since the following players are considered "veterans":

Nick Shore (100+ NHL GP)
Ken Agostino (30+ NHL GP last year)
Nic Petan (100+ NHL GP)
Matt Read (100+ NHL GP)
Kevin Gravel (100+ NHL GP)
Ben Harpur (100+ NHL GP)
Pontus Aberg (100+ NHL GP)
Michael Hutchinson (50+ NHL GP)

Aberg is actually listed in the latest lineups being tweeted out (see Artnes's post above).

And the fact that Neuvirth couldn't play and got replaced by zero-NHL-experience Joseph Woll is probably why Aberg's back in the lineup. They needed either Neuvirth or Aberg to dress (along with the guys I've got listed above) to hit the eight "veteran" minimum.
