In case you haven't noticed Maurice manages to stay relevant because he changes his style, keeps his mouth shut, is actually really smart, is deliberate in action and, well, just so doggone cute you just want to pinch his cheeks.
 
Gallant is actually a good idea. Players don't give up on him till the end of his second year but before that they play really well.
 
i like how the media has all of these inside scoops on the leafs, suddenly.

we’re talking about meetings with 6 people in them (5 board members + shanny). Suddenly now those folks are blabbing to the media? Yeah, ok.
 
I wonder what about galant burns the bridge so quickly. He does coach a hard to play against style. Vegas and the rangers were good teams and tough plays.

The hoity toity players don't like him very much, but if you cater to them..then you don't win. Kane, tarasenko wilted under that style.

If he were here, marner would be the first to go, and he'd be the one that would wilt under galants style.

I'm fine with that IMHO

Yeah, I don't think we're setting a high bar here. I struggle to believe that the line for what is and what isn't a players coach is "I will alert the authorities in the eventuality that you're raped by a member of the organization"

I think Mirtle has been holding this stuff back until Dubas was gone.
Sounds like Shanny left some details out in the press conference.
