The rumour that the second increased ask was 6-7m “Shanahan money” and autonomy makes more sense if he knew this was an option. And would’ve been a clear message for Shanny I’d imagine.

also love that we will get to watch him do a rebuild, without having to be in a position to need a rebuild ourselves. win/win.
 
It speaks to how well liked and respected Dubas is… he got a promotion after winning one playoff round.
I’m stoked if I was a Pens fan (or HabsPatrol)
 
Not for us as GM... but if Kyle takes Pridham, I might be interested in talking to this guy as AGM or scouting etc.
