The Mother-fucking goddamn Off-season Thread

Yeah but what about taking one of those guys who several projected to go at around 15 instead. Isn’t that better for the odds than taking a guy that was supposed to go 60 or whatever?
Idk maybe. I'm not sure how much predictability those scouting lists have had. I just know the history of #28 picks and it's pretty ugly. Most of these guys drop because they're deeply flawed players. i.e. midgets who can't skate, etc.

Its an interesting question. Could argue that the low odds of success in late first round picks is from teams feeling obligated to take those kinds of "fallers".

They should find a way to steal Calgary's scouts that Tre leaned on. The amount of stud dmen they picked was Nashville-esque.

There's kind of no excuse for us to not have our pick of whoever the fuck we want. Literally no budget restrictions on scouts and their salaries.

Yeah, if i wanted attention as a hockey twitter account , i would simply say the nicest and most believeable things about the jobber a Canadian team took in the 5th round, especially if that fan base was on edge with how their draft was going.

And there's the 6'4 dman with the last pick.

Somebody find me a tweet that says he can skate, please.

Fuck they just drafted a tree bitch that can't skate. First d they've picked since 2020. Fucking Treliving
