Could it really be that Dubas was a full on fraud? I feel like we're all idiots for not knowing it, even though the Engvall and Sandin trades (and failure to add another offensive threat) at the deadline really turned my opinion on the guy.

Nope, I love that one. He's still the best UFA the Leafs have ever signed, but that was more Tavares wanting to play for the Leafs over any other team than Dubas doing anything.

But he was forgiven for too much crap and I don't know why anymore. The Kadri trade was a disaster, the Mrazek signing, losing McCann, trading off Sandin and Engvall, and the list goes on. Not sure how much good he actually did, especially since he couldn't even get the big boys to sign for less on the last go. I don't know what the hell I liked about him anymore and it's distressing.
