Yeah his career wasn't anything special but I'm referring specifically to his life and what he preferred. Some like all-inclusive resorts, others like travelling on foot and public transport to explore entire cities. Doan chose the former.

Mats Sundin is still an all-time great for that.

Single for his entire career, then pretty much as soon as he retired he settled down back home in Sweden with a 25 year-old Swedish model for the “wife and kids” stage of his life.

It's true I've always hated Doan for some reason. Maybe it's his face. But I can relate to his preference of living life out of the spotlight.

He gets his balls sucked for no reason maybe that's why. Having him called an amazing leader by everyone gave me such amusement.

Woll is the one I’m most interested to see. Does he carry over his unexpectedly strong play from last season?

Or is he an asshole goalie that turned back into a pumpkin in the off-season?

I would sure hope/expect that even if he struggles in the preseason he's still the backup over Martin fucking Jones. But you can never be too sure.
 
might be reading too much into it but Robertson on the right side makes it very easy for him to slide into that "lafferty slot" on the tavares line from the first practice groups. throw in the fact that waiving both Lafferty and Timmins gives us room to keep a 21 man roster and maybe things are clicking into place.

also interesting to see Kokkonen get the first shot with an nhl guy.
 
Not sure if the sides are mixed. I'm pretty sure ZZ has played RW often before so there may just be a mixup there
