The Mother-fucking goddamn Off-season Thread

so far all I've heard is Shanny talking about how great Kyle was and how great a job he did...

Shanny saying they had a good relationship all year.

Kyle gave Shanny the green light after the deadline to work on an extension.

Now we're at the end of the season. "Many good conversations with Kyle's agent". Thought they were making progress. Didn't discuss with Kyle. Conversations were productive.

Shanny thought he would be in position where he could present 'pretty much a finished deal' reflecting what he wanted financially and otherwise.

Sounds like Shanny was ready to go at season's end with an extension.
 
I can’t believe MLSE offered Kyle all he wanted, and he’s leaving because of the things Presto et all were saying on here…..it’s even worse than I thought.
 
so Shanny made an offer. in accordance with discussions with Kyle's agent. thought they were on the same page.

jeez had a multi-hour conversation with Dubas after submitting the offer.

Shanny holding off on talking to media until they sort out their arrangements. Thought Kyle should do the same but Dubie wanted to spill beans to the media.

Acknowledged this has been hard on Dubie's families. Lol, hard on 'all our families'.

Shanny's thinking shifted watching Kyle's presser. Jeez.
 
so the rumours were true....Shanny blindsided by Dubas' sad presser earlier this week
 
Shanny gets a call from Kyle's agent on Thursday with a "new financial package". "Conversation was brief".

Didn't hear further from Kyle.

Then Kyle says he does want to be GM. What a saga.
