Interesting. My position on the lineup has been that there's no way a Thornton-Spezza-Simmonds 4th line would happen in the playoffs unless we started seeing Spezza get some reps in the middle before the end of the year.

Opens up a bunch of lineup options if Keefe's willing to go that route and, more importantly, if it works.
 
I just realized that Noeson is the guy that many Leafs fans wanted badly in that Tyler Biggs draft. He was picked one spot ahead of Tyler. Worst draft ever.
 
Don't really remember who I wanted... Morrow or Puempel I think, who didn't pan out either?

Definitely remember wanting no part of Biggs prior to the draft though. Teams are definitely going to have misses at that point in the draft but trading up for a guy who flamed out that spectacularly still stings a bit.
 
One thing is for sure.. The Tyler Biggs pick had absolutely zero upside. I don't care that everyone else picked around there is also horrible. The Biggs pick was still dumb.

Yeah, his best AHL season was a 13 point pace.

Completely normal to have misses at that point of the draft but that was so far off, it's almost impressive.
 
His upside was always a 4th line NHLer really. The dream was Lucic but that's like picking a 6'9 treebitch and saying he's the next Chara (which every team does in every draft ever). Absolutely disastrous. At least the other guys around him had skill.

Exactly....that was the year Lucic broke out (scored 30, B's had just won the Cup) and everyone wanted their version.
