The New Division

Funny thing about the crying is that joseph was never close to the best goalies in the league, yet he was apparently able to take down their unstoppable t-1000 juggernaut, even in his mid-30s. Leafs lost to better goalies, in closer series, and never cried about ir.

Of course they never seemed to notice that the top 2 centres for their juggernaut in all but one of the series were radek bonk and rodd white.

Ed Belfour Playoffs:

making it even worse for Ontario Jr. is that the Leafs had a pretty lousy series record outside of their 4-0 against Alfraudsson & Friends. I think it's 3-6 or something like that.

Pat Quinn should still be sending Krusty and Jacques Martin nice gift baskets for Christmas...
 
It's no surprise to hear all of you guys so gleeful at these memories. Other than beating the Sens you've had virtually zero success in the past decade.

Yeah that is the best part of it all. All the bravado and swag talk, and they got bounced in the very next round, EVERY time.

Nobody talks about that though, then the blue and white warrior heroes were too injured to continue their quest for glory.

Still haven't advanced to the 4th round since teeder was fingerbanging bishes in grade school.

It's all good though. This thread has been fun. I look forward to the next time we meet up in the playoffs. Those were some good times. Teams are both totally different now though, but those were some good series'. Sucks we didn't win any of them, but that's life.

yes, cujo and belfour magically turned unbeatable any time they played your juggernaut for some strange reason.
 
Hey, it's too bad that the Senators seem to be the only team that the Leafs consistently get up and go for.

Still happens to this day - with Reimer putting up better than normal numbers with us, same with some offensive producers.

Too bad (for you guys) they don't do that against many other teams. You might actually advance past the 1st round.
