I think it was the "It just doesn't make any sense!" that rubbed me the wrong way a bit. It feels kind of entitled. Quite frankly, anyone in an NHL head office is vulnerable when they have repeated lack of playoff success and ultimately Kyle:
1) didn't have that success
2) seemed hesitant to commit
3) increased his demand - sounds like for both power and money
What did he expect?
