Sports Radio keeps bringing up that we are going hard after JT Miller and that their may be a deal in place. But at 6 million.. unless we are losing salary or they're eating some. I think you can get similar players for less.

We have to "Go for it" this year. Give up whatever futures you need. We've got to have playoff success of some kind.
 
I agree that I like him.... but we need to really fill out the third and fourth line with some extra scoring. I just think a 6 mill winger might not allow us to get some of that tertiary scoring/size and speed... along with the extra defenseman needed, especially if you are losing Holl to accommodate a Miller.

Miller is awesome, but I think you are better off paying less for a young guy like Lehkonen or Nichushkin with term that is cheaper.

MIller costs a lot in cap space and assets, and would be gone after this season. You can get a guy that impacts the game similarly for less, it just takes a bit more effort.

I would like to see if we could get a Burokovsky and Nick Paul for money only and still get rid of some of the funds like Kerfoot, Holl, Engvall, Mikheyev etc.

I'd also love to pick up Josh Manson from the Avs as well.
