I think they’re waiting for Kuemper but I think the Oilers will blast the market by offering him a crazy deal, and offering the same to Jack if Kuemper doesn’t take it. The Leafs strategy may be to let the Oilers take their pick of the two and then grind the remaining one down. Because I don’t think there are two Oilers out there to land both a big deal.If it's true that Kuemper is getting 6 milly then I don't see how they could do that tbh. Maybe the Leafs know his ask already.
Lybushkin and Murray seems like a solid offseason haul

as someone who reviews medical records on a regular basis, just given the number of injuries/surgeries that we know about, it could legit take a couple days to get through in detail. If Murray's medical records are long enough that it takes a week to dissect them then maybe that's a red flag. Not sure though since I'm surprisingly not a doctor.
Gotta fly in some specialist from Europe to review as well, so all this shit takes time.If Murray's medical records are long enough that it takes a week to dissect them then maybe that's a red flag. Not sure though since I'm surprisingly not a doctor.
Oh shit I stand corrected then.Someone already posted a lineup with Kuemper at that price + Murray + Strome. It does fit.
A bullshit post on Twitter says the leafs are in on Chykryn. If they get a second or third for Murray...the rumour is. Chykryn plus the salary retention for muzzin, one of Robertson, or knies and the sweetener picks
Totally made up I assume as I know muzzin has an ntc but...something to throw at the wall
Ehhhhh, this would be the only task of the reviewer, I’d think. And they’ve been at it for a week.as someone who reviews medical records on a regular basis, just given the number of injuries/surgeries that we know about, it could legit take a couple days to get through in detail.
But you still have no stud goalie in the system. Still.
Montreal drafts goalies almost every year. That's why they're good at development of them (won't talk about the forwards). I don't see the Leafs doing that. You draft 5-6 guys over a 4 year period to see who pans out. Like dating its simply a numbers game.
just saying it is not a mere formality. it is an actual task. and there are likely thousands of pages.Ehhhhh, this would be the only task of the reviewer, I’d think. And they’ve been at it for a week.
What I don’t get is, does Ottawa think it’s going to win something within the next two years? Or are they going for Gaudreau or someone like that? What in the world is their desperation to get out from under Murray all about that they’d give up a prime asset or two plus retain salary? If I’m them, I just happily ride him in net for another 1.5 years and trade him at the deadline for something.
But then again, Chicago is doing all kinds of unthinkable stuff, so why should Ottawa be any different?
i prefer Hoss's method. Fuck it, they know what I mean!As someone who has to look up the spelling on this guy's name everytime, I appreciate this attempt. Made me chuckle a little. It works since we know who you mean.
For sure, I'm never wasting time googling again.i prefer Hoss's method. Fuck it, they know what I mean!
I've seen that today looking at it. The development isn't there. Good to see he's stockpiling though but it seems he only does it in later rounds.Four out of Dubas' five drafts.
But they’d be retaining half of the cap hit anyway. They’re that desperate to shed the real money obligation? Didn’t Melnyk leave the Sens anything in his will? It's the real money owed not the caphit.
