This thing drives me nuts. It’s like they forget Lilly exists. Yeah please go sign someone shittier to slot in above him. We haven’t tried that yet, I don’t think?

I mean, I also wouldn’t trade Muzz if I can’t get the forward I like to bolster the offense. But I think my standards wouldn’t be super high - Miller works for me - because I see Muzz’s contract as a disaster waiting to happen this year and that we won’t get anywhere without another really good forward added. Maybe Dubie is also good with waiting to see if Robertson solves his problems up front. Asking too much of the guy won’t work out imo, gotta get that core fifth.

We have to run with Sandin and Lilly. Frankly beyond stupid if we don’t.
 
There is no 1st or 3rd pair. Glasses did specify that his physical rhd target would be a depth guy but Weegar would be cool.

He has to rein in Keefe though. Babushkie was a depth guy and look what happened. If that’s the plan again, I’d rather play with only 5 dmen.

I'm just relaying what he said. I don't think him or Keefe see baboosh as a failed experiment. They loved him and want to get another one of him.
 
I think we would be able to get a nice return for Muzzin, that along with his capspace, his age, his injury history and wanting to give the kids more playing time - makes me think we should explore what we could do if we moved him
 
I read Dubas’ comments as they had room up front to add impact players where on D they just need a depth piece, rather than talking about cap space.

he has lots of easy ways to make cap space.

getting rid of Muzzin is tres tres stupide.
