Yeah, fair enough. Doesn't hurt either way to have it higher though.
Basically yeah. he'll win the Vezina. And if he costs a lot in a trade then hell no. I assumed he would be a pure cap dump with retention at this stage of his career.I would say that Gibson would be a terrible move because he costs a lot in a trade, and cap, and has been awful the last 3 years.
So that probably means he'll have a great year.
Jack-Mrazek is the moveThey should definitely do the opposite of what we would want. The obvious move is to throw money at Kuemper or Husso.
So they should either trade for Gibson or Georgiev. Maybe sign Koskinen.
Holy fuck we've come full circle. We had this debate at the beginning of the season.Jack-Mrazek is the move

I've always had a love-hate thing with him. He brings value and is a huge, huge net positive, but the dude is a liability at times. I don't know if 7.5m dollars makes sense for a guy that you can't trust in certain situations. They had him on the third pair in the playoffs this year, while getting spot duty in offensive situations and he was still often exposed. Do you really want to spend 7.5 on a guy that you need to hide? I think you can find a guy that does that for cheaper... Definitely not as well (he's a fucking phenomenal offensive driver), but I'd prefer a top 4 that is more well-rounded in a perfect world.I find this sudden reversal on Rielly around here fascinating. even zeke(?!) I've never been a fan as you guys know, but I'm curious to know what turned it.
