Yeah Blackwell is not a center. I’d sign a center and give the kids a shot instead of spending money on vets. Go with a Robertson/Abruzzese/eventually Knies as 4th line wingers. Maybe Anderson and Steeves.

if all those guys stink you can always get a Nick Paul at the deadline. No point spending over $1 mill on 4th line wingers like Kase, or Blackwell.

I'm married so I've got the getting laid part sorted. My 2017 Kia Soul has never been stolen or broken into, despite the Habs license plate on the front bumper.

In fairness he's better than Duncan Keith at the same age and Oilers bent and spread for him.

Gio was fine. He's aged but still serviceable and hasn't lost his on ice awareness

Slotting him in on the 3rd pairing and PP2 duties would be ideal

Worth noting that if you bring in Gio you can't bring back Muzzin or Raz. None of Rielly, Muzzin, or Sandin can play RD. Gio as a cheap 3rd pair LD is perfect tho.
