Habs are the kings of cutting off talent....cannot hire the best coaches or GMs (they need to speak Francais)....

I think most here are totally against drafting a goalie or dmen in the top 5....much easier to find a stud goalie or dmen later in the draft

He likes Guhle a lot better than Hutson.

He doesn't believe Hutson is a D is why. From many accounts Hutson is something the league hasn't seen yet. Get the protector to help him develop.

You can be a #2 without being a top QB. And you can be a top QB without being a top pair. They compared him a bit to Jiricek.

They were hoping Will Smith fell to them, once that didn't happen, they went with the safe pick.

I don't get why Molson would say no to Russian players....this isn't like the Mailloux pick....if an NHL-run team like Coyotes are picking Russians, doesn't that tell you it's ok to pick Russians ?
