OT: Soccer thread

Man, everyone used to go on and on about Lloris leadership and his World Cup winning calibre etc, and he was our captain…..but he’d bury everyone if their error caused a shot he had to save….and I’m no footy genius, maybe that’s needed.

But as a fan, seeing guys make mistakes and Vicario never fucking so much as flinch, and only ever give guys a thumbs up afterwards that he’s got them covered……it’s so goddamn satisfying to see.

Milan went out with pride, and only via tiebreaks, but still went out. Tough draw in the group of death but they really screwed up in the first 3gms when they failed to score a single goal. Just one goal in those 3 games and they probably go through.

nah AC Milan is my bro's team. I'm just cheering for the re-birth of Italian club soccer.

Inter Milan is my team.

Dominating win even with the red. Vicario with the great save on the only SOT

plus stopped that 1 v 1 that ended up being offsides.

some agent tried to link their big money keeper to us earlier this week, and it actually made me mad…..as if there even IS an upgrade to Vicario out there, blasphemy.

…..Kulusevski continues to amaze, he‘s slow and predictable but great at holding possession, creating big chances.….so damn valuable.

Reading this thread made me check the table... I assumed Spurs were running away with the league.

I guess you skipped the pages where they were…..and then the posts discussing the major injuries to half a dozen starting players, including James Maddison & Van De Ven (who I’d argue were maybe our two best players during those first 11 games or whatever we were in first?)…..lol.

The fact we’re 5th is remarkable…..unless as you implied, you aren’t paying attention.
