The referring continues to be abysmal (for all teams) these playoffs
Oilers D are really dumb
McDavid and Draisaitl didn't seem to have any energy left for this series
And Columbus #2, would love to see Chicago miss out on top3 completely. :devilish:
It the world of 'What ifs', if Buffalo had beaten Florida 10 days ago, they would be in playoffs and Florida would be behind the Pens. Of course, relies on everything else playing out the same. Woulda, coulda...
Columbus score with 3.25 left and get the bonus pt for OT win. Jump from #1 to #3 . Ouch. Of course, Hawks and Ducks could still win as the race to not pick Bedard heats up :alien:
Another come from behind win today keeps them 'alive', treading water is quite indicative.
But saw this crazy stat "It marked the 10th time Calgary gave up a goal on an opponent's first shot of the game - the ninth time against Markstrom" o_O
I think we have it pretty stress-free for standings position rest of the way - in comparison to others.
Watching a Sharks fan half-heartedly applaud shutting out the Jets, knowing he should be happy...but you could tell his thoughts were also on the standings and that the win saw them leapfrog...
That was the exact govt/media narrative over here. Which for the majority of people who don't seek information themselves, is all they 'know'.
There will be some fascinating case studies/data coming out in the coming years.
Anyway, I'm still hopeful we can drop another spot in the standings (y)
I really thought Pitlick had pulled a gun and shot Bergeron from point blank range (with the puck 100 ft away).
But no, commentators slightly exaggerating events with a Boston bias
