Now that Toronto and Tampa have gotten their mess together, the picture in the East is looking an awful lot like you would have thought going into the season. Pittsburgh and NYI are over-performing (injuries and general roster talent, respectively) and Philly is maybe one slot more competitive than they were given credit for. Columbus didn't slide as much as people thought they would, but there's still time. Given a hot or cold week here or there, the East is about what you would have figured. There's not a lot of room to screw around for any of the group between 60 and 50 points, with plenty of competition just waiting to pounce. The West looks like a freaking scrap yard by comparison.
