I'm not entertaining this stupidity again.

I've made my opinion on Whaler night well known. I chose not to participate.
 
No 1 ... we get that you two disagree on this.

No 2 ... I'll be there this year, wearing black. Because that shade of green makes me look jaundiced. :0)

I'll be there in black, too, but not in protest. My wife, who is the only person in our household in possession of a Whalers jersey, is not going to the game, but I learned a few nights ago that I can't fit into it!
 
I don’t care too much for it but mostly because of the gushing nostalgia. If it was just the cool uni and the money grab then I’m ok with that. I just don’t know why we need to keep arguing about it here and bringing up the past arguments about it. Some like it. Some don’t. That’s been established. It’s not like it’s some interesting discussion. I’ll be there. I have a whalers sweater. I may wear it. I may not.

When the Kings revealed their 90s era heritage jerseys in August, Canes Twitter posed that question to Kings Twitter. But the Kings are saving their jerseys for their 90s night against Colorado on February 22. They’re wearing them again for 80s night on March 21.
 
Speaking of the Kings unis, that's about the only jersey that looks OK for the upcoming All Star game. 1) it's grayscale like the rest of the jersey and 2) the horizontal lines do not cross into the logo design on the front. See also the Golden Knights All Star jersey.

I guess nobody can read, but I figured a gentle nudge would suffice. I'm not deleting half of a thread, but it would be really nice if we could civil up this disagreement ... on both sides.

Fun is subjective. And you appear to be the only one enjoying this.

For the record ... Kahuna is allowed to hate Whalers Night. Paulie is allowed to bust his chops for hating Whalers Night. The problem is when we spiral off into multiple posts on that very micro-focused issue over the course of several days. That's not fun. It is, however, tedious.
