And to reiterate, I don't think the Forslund situation is something that has to (or maybe even should) be dealt with right now. It doesn't matter in the short run because there's nothing for the team broadcasters to do ... aside from radio, which we all know doesn't matter even a little bit. TV is what matters and that's going to be National. And I seriously doubt even the most profligate free spending organizations are lining up to bid high for the services of a play by play guy for next season when nobody knows when it's going to start, how many games there will be, whether or not there will be paying customers in the stands or any number of other factors that go into revenue. This can all wait, and probably should. If Dundon gets an earful from fans and players and wants to soften his approach ... fine. I still doubt he commits to any more cost until he's got a better idea what the income side will look like. And nobody on earth knows that right now. Heck, I'm still wondering where the NHL at large is gonna come up with their player and staff payroll commitments for next season, now that they're collectively bargained. Flat costs are one thing. I'm not seeing how the heck they can make up whatever chunk of the gate they're going to be missing if they try to start next season before there's a better picture on treatment or vaccines.
