I am not saying it is new but regarding to Habs, in 70s there were only 6 teams in the league and Quebec used to produce equal stars if not more than the rest of Canada, and they weren't any European or very little around. Things changed big time....But they still live in their own world.

Belgium has the same shit language debate/fight(and even more) between French and Flemish, but you see French coaches coach Flemish base teams or other way around, or many foreigner coaches in Belgium Jupiler league. This shit is ONLY in Québec.

You see an Iranian guy Mehdi Bayat owing FC Charleroi(family owning, the same way as Molson), and he is also the head of Belgium football federation, totally different world, lol

It's been my concern for 5 years now, prior to Price getting his new contract. You could see the current situation coming from a mile away. Terrible contracts for long term, terrible drafting & development, no consistent team identity.

I'm not sure you can get a ton of Gallagher unless you're willing to take on a bad contract in return. Toffoli, on the other hand, I agree with.
