I wanted more I expected 2... so
By the NHL's screwed up logic, that's a 4 game suspension since the match penalty equals a game ... or at least that's what they generally say. For a guy with no history, that's pretty stiff. I feel like repeat offenders routinely get the same 3 games for the same kind of hit
Columbus fans are salty right now. They had different expectations as to how this season would play out.

Columbus is bad, and losing Werenski and having Laine in and out of the lineup doesn't make them better. They are going to get their coach fired.
If the Columbus fans thought they were a Johnny Gaudreau away from being a playoff team, well, I don't know what to tell them because their overall D stinks and their goaltending is still not good.
Boone Jenner was their #1C. That is the equivalent of the Canes putting Jordan Staal between Aho and Svech.

Being a native South Carolinian, this is true. Some say we're cursed because we eat fried chicken at tailgates before the Gamecocks take the field. I went to the College of Charleston, and we have no football team - but in SC, you divide along USC and Clemson partisan lines.
You can trace the unrealistic swagger from a historical context. Prior to the Civil War, someone once said "Poor South Carolina. Too small for a country and too large for an insane asylum."

Yeah, awful news. Salming went through so much anti-Euro crap from the Canadian press and always just powered through with dignity. A friend of mine with ALS just went into hospice care. It's a nasty, nasty business.

Weird, in Raleigh they're called on follow-throughs.
Over simplification the rules were applied as written.
Linesman called the double minor high stick. there was no injury Therefore It can't be called. As linesmen cannot call a single minor High stick.
Now the ref explanation of such is well.. terrible.
Ugh ... some dipstick Caps fan behind me could NOT shut up complaining about the crowd boo-ing that one. I explained the rule to him, but ... no.
