Neely and Sweeney should have their asses held to the hot coals over this fiasco. And the Bruins come to their senses. Miller is gone.
Bruins Issue Update On Mitchell Miller | Boston Bruins
BOSTON -Bruins President Cam Neely announced today, November 6, that the Boston Bruins will part ways with Mitchell Miller.www.nhl.com
Yeah, there's a lot of online chatter calling for them to be fired but that's not realistic. Still, you'd hope that the rest of the executive suite is planning to have a serious discussion with the two of them about ... you know, actually checking on low character prospects before singing them to make sure some baseline effort has been made towards earning a second chance. It's the Bruins so they'll get over it because it's Boston and they're an institution, but you really couldn't have had a worse PR weekend if you you have actually tried.Neely and Sweeney should have their asses held to the hot coals over this fiasco.
Josh Anderson, call your Union Rep.
None. Martinez and Pietrangelo got roughing minors, so the Habs actually had a 4 on 3 PP, which Suzuki converted 13 seconds in.So, how many instigators did Vegas get? I think I see three guys jump on Anderson. Canes please take note.
Meh ... they were smart. They piled on the guy in a big group, which has been resulting in no instigator penalties being awarded of late. So, how many instigators did Vegas get? I think I see three guys jump on Anderson. Canes please take note.
Thr Mitchell Miller story gets worse and worse. His agent Eustace King of O2K Sports Management released a statement that Miller met with and committed to work with The Carnegie Initiative, among others.
The Carnegie Initiative tweeted out a response, paraphrasing Lee Corso…not so fast, my friend. They say they never met with Miller.
Derek Stepan is represented by them.I'd like to know what athletes are represented by O2K and King in particular and ask them why they aren't holding their agency to account. The agency hasn't exactly been working in their client's interest in this. The guy needs counseling in a major way, and they're just ignoring that and hoping they can squeeze a few bucks out of him.
Ryan Reynolds addressed…sort of…rumors thst he’s trying to buy the Ottawa Senators. He said he needs a consortium, so basically a ”sugar mommy or sugar daddy”
Good thing for NJ that they hedged their bets on Blackwood and brought in Vanecek this summer. He's no world beater, but he's been consistently competent for his entire career thus far. With the rest of their roster shaping up nicely, just getting reliably average goaltending is a step up for the Devs. Not sure how they feel about the Swiss kid they're stuck with as a backup though. That's a long timetable to have to ride a guy who's never been a full time starter, even in the A.Devils goalie Mackenzie Blackwood is out 3 - 6 weeks with a MCL sprain. As we know with Freddie last season, the timetable for that injury is a crapshoot.
Isaiah Meyer-Crothers released a statement through the Hockey Diversity Alliance.
