Speculation on Twitter that Justin Robidas will be traded to Quebec, as early as today. Val-d’Or is 3rd in their division, 6th in the Western Conference. Quebec has the best record in the league, 7 points up in the Eastern Conference.

Jackson Blake and the US swamped Nikita Quapp and the Germans in the quarters of the World Juniors, 11-1. Blake had his first goal of the tournament, Quapp gave up 8 goals in 28 shots before being relieved after 2 periods.
