Yeah, I don't like that Vegas jersey's logo at all. Seems cheesy even by that franchise's standards and that lack of contrasting trim is going to render them blurry on TV. Seattle' are fine. It's just a riff on the old Metropolitans jersey, which honestly would look better if they'd have gone full retro and kept the red stripes.

FWIW, both of these seem the opposite of the Canes Stadium Series jersey from last season. That one looked terrible on the rack and great on the ice, whereas these will look better in the store.
 
That Vegas jersey is the worst thing I’ve seen in a while. Oh wait, then I saw Seattle’s ode to Where’s Waldo….that’s an atrocity to all uniforms everywhere. Awful by both orgs.
 
In full disclosure, the US Men's National Soccer team uniform that I have most liked in recent years was their Where's Waldo red and white hoops shirts, circa 2012. So, yeah. Not everybody likes or hates the same thing, it turns out. Weird.

Can they teach him how not to strangle his loved ones? If so, kudos to them. What’s even scarier is that his wife had obvious red marks and bruising on her neck and after claiming he strangled her to the 911 operator, suddenly decided he only pulled her hair when the cops got on scene. At some point these women need to stop protecting these men. But maybe that discussion doesn’t need to be in this topic…
 
Yeah, I'm thinking we should leave the general domestic violence conversation for the grab bag thread.

I will say this, substance abuse is often a contributing factor in these situations. So this isn't guaranteed to be some sort of ploy or diversion tactic.
 
Tampa put goalie Matt Tompkins on waivers so he could go to Springfield. So either their other goalie in Springfield is better, or Vasilevksiy is ready.
 
The Leafs put dman John Klingberg on LTIR. He has t played since November 11, out with an undisclosed injury. He has 5 assists in 14 games and is 2nd worst on the team at -7, only better than Ryan Reaves.
