Yes but in all fairness, you couldn’t breath on Gretzky without getting a penalty, while Lemieux had to deke 3 players while carrying 2 other players on his back, and no ref ever called a penalty

Unless Fresh Prince gets the Gretzky treatment, he needs to have elite skating to be a difference maker for Habs….but I’m just going by what Krusty said, because I trust him, he’s never been wrong once on this board…not once

That's why Boisvert said that the only sure things were Bedard, Fantilli, Michkov and Carlsson. Smith is a maybe and pretty much anyone below him is a question mark.

Who happens to be more right than not, and his track record of going against the grain is better than quite literally anyone you'll find online.

And technically, he's not an amateur hockey scout. He's been hired by two teams in the QMJHL and is still consulting for one of them.

Boisvert is not perfect by any means; he's made his mistakes along the line. But when scouts (professional scouts, btw) were saying Shane Wright is like Patrice Bergeron, Boisvert called bullshit and ranked him 6th on his list. I don't remember a single person or scouting service that had him in other rank besides 1st or 2nd.

His opinion on Wright from last June:
