My opposition to Michkov has nothing to do with what his politics may or may not be but rather with the chances of him getting out of Russia at all.

As for Poehling, he isn't good enough at hockey for a team to take on the added burden of him being an idiot who loves Trump. If he was a 50 goal scoring Trump fan we could just call him eccentric, like Kurt Schilling when he was helping the Bosox win the World Series. But for me to look the other way on Poehling's politics he'd have had to be a much better player than he is.

I've had to hold my nose while cheering for the Packers just because of Aaron Rodgers. Hopefully he's gone for good this time.

What added burden is a fourth liner going to cause on the Habs , nonsense.
 
We are drafting 8-11th and whoever we draft the entire forum will love and say he has tremendous upside. Doesn't matter the name, everyone will say this was a good pick and has a lot of potential.

We are tied with Ottawa right now. I also think PHI will fall. So, we've been saying the whole year we suck. Yet here we are. I keep thinking OTT is going to shoot past us, but we both have 43pts. I also don't think we will fall below VAN. So, we are going to draft 7-10. Stl/Nash/Buff will keep a bar at 11.

you guys are funny......if Habs are picking, and Michkov is still available, you jump all over it (assuming the top centers are gone already).

Michkov is probably just as talented as Bedard (but obviously Bedard is a center, and will go #1)
