I like the look of Ritchie. Both dudes need to get more quickness. Is that foot speed or in how they play and process the game?Hoping for Charlie Stramel or Calum Ritchie

Gotta get those clicks.Pronman at it again saying Fantilli closing on on Bedard for first OA. Rinse repeat yearly. https://theathletic.com/3742176/202...prospects-ranking/?source=user_shared_article
I don't think it's crazy, to be honest.Pronman at it again saying Fantilli closing on on Bedard for first OA. Rinse repeat yearly. https://theathletic.com/3742176/202...prospects-ranking/?source=user_shared_article
The opposite of the Habs for most of my life. Default was to have a number 1 D (Markov, subban, Weber) and a goalie (Theo, price) but never a great centre (saku and pleks being the best 2)What makes Carlsson & Fantili so attractive is that if they pan out, we're set at center for the next decade. Even moreso if Dach ends up at center longterm and not as a winger.
Suzuki
Fantili/Carlsson
Dach (maybe) / Beck
That's a championship caliber centerline.
With Caufield & Slaf on the wing, Guhle / Harris / Xhekaj on defense, we'd have a very good core to build around.
It's missing a real #1 d-man and goaltender and I don't know if those players are in our system or not. Dobes is interesting, but Primeau was interesting at the NCAA level too. Mailloux's interesting and there's a lot of potential there, but he's atrocious defensively. If he can't fix that, he's going to have a tough time in the NHL.
Guhle's ceiling has yet to be realized. He's on a 38 point pace. Plenty of "#1" D started off far below.
