Chicago Wolves Last week:

Dec 6 @Grand Rapids W 3-1 Martin with the win. Unger Sorem, Jost and Smith with the goals
Dec 7 Grand Rapids L 5-4(OT) Perets with the loss. Smith x2, Heimosalmi and Jaaksa with the goals.
Dec 8 Grand Rapids W 2-1 Martin with the win. Gunler and Robidas with the goals.

Grand Rapids is the top team in the AHL Central division, so taking 2 of 3 from them last week is a positive step. The Wolves have jumped up to 4th in the division.

2 Games this week. Fri/Sat both @Texas

Ryan Suzuki isn’t scoring goals, he only has 1. But he’s tied for 9th in the league with 15 assists.

Any word on how Scott Morrow is looking? As much as the Canes seventh defenseman fodder with Ty Smith and Riley Stillman keeps the press box seats warm I would love to see Morrow progress enough to get a real call if needed.

Pretty good overall.

2nd on the team in points including a hattrick, he's putting on a little weight and has a 0+/- which, considering how the season started, isn't bad.

Yeah, I've seen good reports on Morrow. I think the Canes would prefer to let him have a full season in the A, so I doubt he'll get a callup unless one of the PP point guys goes down for a serious stretch of time. Next year is his time to shine.

Honka really has zero chance of ever getting to the NHL with any team. As far as the Canes org goes, he is literally our #13/14/15 Dman under contract. And that doesn't include an unsigned Nikishin. Honka isn't going to find some sort of magic potion in Ajoie that makes him capable of being an NHL Dman.

It's good that he found a pro hockey home for a few more years. I wish the kid well and will be happy to remove him from next season's prospect tracker list (and replace him with 10 more Russians).

Nadeau made the Final Cut for Team Canada, so he’s on the World Juniors roster. Unger Sorum and Vuollet will skate for Sweden.
