Connor McDavid and Tyler Myers will probably face supplemental discipline for their match penalties last night, in the Vancouver v. Edmonton game. And all of it was preventable, had not Chris Lee and Wes McCauley not called the last 30 seconds of the game with their heads up their asses.

McDavid's looming suspension overshadows Oilers' loss to Canucks
So much for Connor McDavid versus Alex Ovechkin Tuesday night. It's difficult to fathom how the cross-check to the side of Conor Garland’s head by McDavid at the end of Saturday’s 3-2 loss will not draw at least a one-game suspension, if not a two-gamer.
Still waiting for Chris Lee and Wes McCauley to get 3 games for the willful blindness that caused that situation with McDavid.
